Skansie Brothers Park, located at 3207 Harborview Drive in downtown Gig Harbor,  has become the center of the universe in Gig Harbor, home to weekly summer concerts and outdoor movies, many festivals and events and wonderful water access for the public. Acquired by the City of Gig Harbor in 2002, Skansie Brothers Park is named for and commemorates the important Skansie family who were leaders in the fishing industry in our community.
